LIFT OFF - Learning Skills Course

We are pleased to announce that our SCQF level 6 accredited course, LIFT OFF Learning Skills (LOLS for short) has gone online!
LOLS is a four-day course which is designed to provide S5 LIFT OFF Core Pupils with all the knowledge and academic skills required to succeed both in school and as they take their next steps into Higher Education.
Delivered online from 5th-8th April via Microsoft Teams, LOLS gives LIFT OFF Core Pupils the opportunity to learn more about the application and admissions process to college and university and to gain an understanding of life in Higher Education. Pupils will also have the opportunity to develop their critical thinking and writing skills, as well as their confidence in delivering a group presentation.
We have invited all S5 LIFT OFF Core Pupils at your school to attend to the course. All they need to do is watch the video and fill in the application form attached to this link. We would be really grateful if you could remind LIFT OFF Core Pupils to check their inboxes for this information.
