Robertsons - Bringing Construction To You

Robertson are delighted to announce that our second virtual work placement opportunity – Bringing Construction To You is now LIVE.  Our virtual work placement will give young people the opportunity to connect with the construction industry. Throughout their placement young people will gain an introduction to our industry, our organisation and careers within it, as well as the opportunity to recognize and develop the skills needed for the world of work.  Our first placement opportunity will be over three sessions, young people will take part in our work based challenge to design a new construction project. Young people will learn how to research, plan and design, and identify the various types of roles needed for their construction project. Throughout the placement young people will meet members of Team Robertson who will share their knowledge and expertise to support their work based challenge.

This virtual work placement is aimed at the senior school phase 15+ age group and will be held over three days from 10th – 12th May 2021 from 9am to 1pm. The opportunity is not only ideal for those interested in Construction, it is also suitable for the development of personal and work related skills for all learners.
