Duke of Edinburgh

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) is a global youth program challenging young people aged 14-24 to develop skills and confidence through personalized activities in volunteering, physical pursuits, and personal skills, culminating in a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award. The program involves planning and completing an expedition and, at the Gold level, a residential experience, all while fostering teamwork, resilience, and independence. The DofE is highly regarded by universities and employers while providing young people with valuable life and work-ready skills.

Harris Academy has a long and proud tradition of providing the DofE Award programme. This award really helps develop important skills and offers lifelong memories of achievement and enjoyment.
